In late 2018, North Head and ORC conduct a extensive survey of Chinese consumers of their attitudes and levels of trust of financial trust for financial services. The outcome and results quite informative.

First of all, quite a high level of trust overall in financial services. But very large differences between actual sectors running from payment system, through banking, insurance, access management, through VC and pe.

The 2nd key takeaway is Chinese consumers have a high level of trust in technology and digital services and fin tech, much more higher than another countries.

The 3rd take away there is a big differences and attitudes among various of Asian groups with a younger consumer 35 more domestic and older much more negative on financial services and sectors.
