Laura is an experienced communications professional, who advises on integrating media and public policy campaigns. Previous roles include over seven years as a news presenter at Beijing Television, China Central TV and remains active for project work, including for BBC World Service documentaries.

Laura’s in-house experience was with the public affairs team at Ford in China and as a member of the founding executive team of Westlake University in Hangzhou. Plus she has worked and provided consultancy services to a number of non-profits, including the Energy Foundation, Leping Social Entrepreneur Foundation and the Pew Charitable Trust, where she was involved in environmental campaigns.

Laura is a contributor to the Financial Times and the South China Morning Post.  She has Masters from Oxford in Public Policy and graduated from Fudan university is journalism and Communications.  She is a UK Chevening scholar.
