Hong’s strengths are stakeholder relations, corporate reputation and issues /crisis management. Her clients included a significant number of healthcare clients including PhRMA, AstraZeneca, Shire and Ipsen. She also has broad experience with technology, industrial and public sectors with such clients as Stratasys, Outokumpu, Siano, Beisen, the Government of Tianjin and Mars. Hong has adept at devising and implementing government relations advocacy, corporate reputation campaigns and public affairs issue projects.
Hong started her career at Xinhua News Agency in Beijing and UKTV in London. Prior to joining North Head, she was at the British Council, with the Cultural and Education Section, attached to the British Embassy. She also had over three years at Weber Shandwick.
Hong graduated from Peking University and has a Masters from London School of Economics (LSE).
